Anxiety against medical personnel
I get pretty bad anxiety when going to the doctor, hospital or dentist. I get anxiety just talking about medical issues with my wife or family. It causes me to lash out verbally at times. It's to the point where I haven't had a preventive doctor's visit in at least 10 years. I probably haven't been to the dentist in about the same time frame. Now I think I may have a partially obstructed ureter (I have a history of kidney stones) and I'm afraid to go to the doctor for it. What should I do

Well, you will have to see a doctor sooner or later. Sooner is better, before your condition gets so bad that it may cause you serious harm. See a counsellor to help alleviate your phobia.
