Hello madam good morning ...I'm 35 weeks pregnant mother and I have anterior placenta previa and this is my First pregnancy madam And my doctor advised C section in 36 or 37 weeks My question is a Planned C section placenta previa in 36 or 37 weeks can avoid bleeding during delivery... And why C section in 36 or 37 weeks not 38 or 39 please 🙏 answer my question mam

Cesarean in placenta previa should be done after 37 completed weeks because if you go in labour you are going to bleed profusely At 36 completed weeks the lung maturity has been achieved we give you a one more week of leeway  to ensure full lung maturity
