You’re carrying a lot right now — new baby, family stress, work — and that kind of exhaustion shows up as anger more often than people realise. It’s not just your temper, it’s your mind asking for a break. Start with 20-30 minutes of walking daily. When you feel the anger rising, pause and take three slow breaths before reacting — genuinely effective, not just textbook advice. Escitalopram 5mg is safe during breastfeeding if you ever change your mind, but try this for a few weeks first. If the anger is also coming with low mood or feeling distant from your baby, don’t wait — book a consultation and we’ll look at this properly together.

Ok so anger management can be done by understanding the underlying thought patterns and conflicts. Although, right now what you have to understand is that if a baby is in the scene then anger can lead to some serious consequences. It has to be assessed what is the magnitude of anger that you are suggesting? Because if it's from mild to moderate then therapy will be best but if its severe then maybe starting medication would be the best choice (as baby and your safety take the paramount importance). I provide online consultation and therapy support you can contact me directly on seven eight seven seven six three nine six eight two for detailed evaluation and individualised management plan (therapy or medications whatever is best).

Hi With a 7-month-old baby, family stress, and work pressure, it’s understandable to feel more irritable. Physical activities like a brisk walk, jogging, dancing, skipping, or even a 15–20 minute workout can help release built-up stress and reduce anger. Also, try taking a pause when you feel anger rising—slow your breathing, step away for a few minutes, and respond only after you’ve calmed down. If anger is becoming frequent or affecting your relationships, it may be helpful to explore the deeper triggers through therapy. Regarding escitalopram, discuss your concerns about breastfeeding with your prescribing doctor before making any decision about the medication. Take therapy.
