Anemic with Normal Iron, Ferritin, and H
I had full labs recently (1/31/2018) due to severe fatigue, I'm always freezing, and hair loss. I am a vegan so I expected deficiencies. The results came back normal EXCEPT I have low red blood cell count. (3.81 Million/uL) However, my iron (163 mcg/dL), hemoglobin (12.8 g/dL), and ferritin (47 ng/mL) are all in normal ranges. My B12 is also normal at 1015 pg/mL. Why would I have low red blood cells if everything else is in normal range? My doctor had no answers for me. How can I fix it?
