Anal fistula
I have been done fistula surgery successfully before 8 month but there is little fissure again I went to my surgeon he did finger test and confirmed just asked me to eat balance diet and keep stool soft,now my only question is when I pass stool I just clean from outside anal,don't put finger inside and clean,like surgeon do finger anal test when they put finger inside to check for fissure, My concern is, is it ok if I just clean from outside and don't put finger inside and clean,bcoz i have heard it can cause infection in fissure and cause fistula Plz advice

Don't do any "finger test" or clean from inside. Do sitz bath & consume high fibre diet. Use laxatives. Avoid straining for stools

Don't probe inside to clean after defecation. Continue sitz bath. It will take care of the wound
