I've been diagnosed with chronic anal fissure. My doctor has prescribed lox 2% jelly to apply before and after stools. But the cream reads that it is a local anesthetic and should be discarded after single use. So now I don't know for how long am I supposed to use this. Some guidance would really be appreciated.
