An external bloody cut in the anus.

Asked for Male, 20 Years

My friend is 20, male From a year till now he has a cut in the anus (externally)(it didnt heal) The stool is not bloody (so i think there isnt any wound inside) When he poops (sorry) its hurt alot and the cut starts to bleed He refuses to go to the doctor He tried using Normacol, although the stool has become softer but it still hurts and there is blood from that wound He regularly uses the toilet once every week or 10 days And he didn’t poop from like 5 days What do u recommend?

Hi, it seems he has developed fissure in ano. ( a cut in anal canal due to passage of hard stool). He needs some good laxative to make stool soft do that it should not hurt the wounded area. Take isabgol husk in Luke warm water after dinner daily. He can try Triphala powder. There are certain ointment to relax the anal sphincter which helps in relieving pain and allows fissure to heal. Do sitz bath three times a day. Feel free to ask any further quary.
