Always getting bit

Since I've come back home from holiday (south of france) for the past three days ive been getting bitten by some insect or i dont know what. Theres like 20 small itchy red bumps on my left forearm (with like a tiny brown dry spot) and five pimple like itchy on my other arm mosquito repellent doesnt work?!??!
