Hello,
Recently I was diagnosed with a low lying placenta in my 12 weeks ultrasound here in India.
It is extremely important for me to travel to the U.S.A as I am a citizen. What should I do ?

It is not recommended to travel during the first 3-4 months of pregnancy plus you have low lying placenta so you should extend your travel plans to next month if its not necessary. If it is necessary then you can take some precautionary medications for support but they are not 100% effective so its your choice to make.

The placental location will be again checked at 20 weeks. In most cases it will no longer be low lying at that point.
It is better to wait till your next scan. If you remain asymptomatic till then and it turns out normal in the next scan at 20 weeks then you can easily travel.
