If your TSH is within range, but you still feel: • Low energy • Sluggishness • Possibly weight gain / hair fall / mood changes There are a few important possibilities:
Next Steps
✔ 1. Check These Tests • Free T3 • Free T4 • Anti-TPO antibodies • CBC • Serum ferritinVitamin B12Vitamin DFasting blood sugar / HbA1c This gives a complete fatigue profile. ⸻ ✔ 2. If Already on Thyroid Medication • Ensure you take it on empty stomach • Wait 30–45 minutes before food • Avoid calcium/iron within 4 hours Incorrect intake timing reduces absorption. ⸻ ✔ 3. Evaluate Sleep If you: • Wake up tired • Snore • Have interrupted sleep Energy issues may be sleep-related, not thyroid-related.
Health Tips
✔ Do not self-increase thyroid dose ✔ Maintain consistent medication timing ✔ Add protein to breakfast ✔ Ensure 7–8 hours quality sleep ✔ Include light strength training (improves metabolism) ✔ Correct vitamin deficiencies before adjusting thyroid In many cases, once iron, B12, or vitamin D are corrected, energy improves even without changing thyroid dose. If you share your exact TSH value and whether you are on medication, I can guide more precisely — or you may book an online consultation so we can analyze your reports comprehensively instead of adjusting thyroid blindly.

You can still feel tired or low energy even if TSH is normal. Common causes include Vitamin D, B12, or iron deficiency, poor sleep, stress, or hormonal imbalance. Check Vitamin D, B12, CBC, and iron levels. Maintain good diet, sunlight exposure, exercise, and proper sleep. Sometimes thyroid dose adjustment is needed based on symptoms. For proper evaluation and treatment, text me on Practo.
