Can I take promide 100 that contains acotiamide while breastfeeding a one year old ? He is eating solids as well .

Greetings Acotiamide can pass into breast milk, and its safety for nursing infants hasn't been well-studied in humans. Medical guidelines generally do not recommend it during breastfeeding unless a doctor decides the benefits to you outweigh the potential risks to your baby.

Not preferred during breastfeeding (especially without strong indication) Acotiamide has very limited data in lactation. Baby is 1 year old + on solids → risk is lower than in neonates. But still not completely risk-free prefer safer alternatives first… like pantop rabeprazol etc
