My daughter 2 years old recovered from viral fever. She had 8 days fever and cold that was cured. However dr asked to give for montair lc kids syrup for 14 days as a preventive medicine. but there is no cold when we started..
when can we stop it?
We have given for 4 times now.

Most probably the doctor advised it because of recurrent cold or allergic symptoms. Stopping or continuing would depend on child's disease history rather than a single illness duration of now.
Stop now as viral illness in babies will produce cough and cold for longer duration but no need of Montair LC at this age.Just normal saline nasal drops (Nasoclear) is sufficient and cough treatment based on Chest sounds
