Acne that wont go away

Asked for Female, 18 Years

I've been suffering from acne for over 8 months. Nothing seems to work. If it does, it only works for a little while and then my face goes back to purging. My doctor has prescribed benzyl peroxide, erythromycin, and I am currently on retin A. I want to know if i can take azithromycin while on retin a because i took it a couple months ago when i was sick and it drastically improved my acne.
