About back pain
I had done my kft & urine  test on 17 Dec 25. The value of creatinine 1.3 and (+) urine in protein. All the tests done after running. After 01 month I was repeating kft, urine and egfr test. Creatine was 0.8 and no protein in urine and the egfr value was 121. I still feel back pain. Is this muscles pain or any other reason.

Your KFT is normal. It's probably due to muscle pain. Just take muscle relaxants and follow up

Your blood creatinine is a reflection of how much muscle mass you have (provided you were not taking muscle building supplements) along with the kidneys ability to handle it. If over the course of few weeks, your creatinine has come down, that is usually a clue that YOU MAY HAVE LOST WEIGHT. If your weight is going down and your back pain is continuing, do the following, 1. Blood tests: CBP, ESR, LFT 2. Ideally an MRI of your back and spine to check nothing else going on there All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

Your first test (after running): • Creatinine = 1.3 • Trace protein in urine Second test (after 1 month): • Creatinine = 0.8 (normal) • No protein in urine • eGFR = 121 (excellent kidney function) This clearly suggests:
Next Steps
Check these points: • Does pain worsen when bending or twisting? • Does pressing the area increase pain? • Does heat relieve it? If yes → Muscular. What you can do: ✔ Hot fomentation 15–20 minutes twice daily ✔ Light stretching ✔ Avoid prolonged sitting ✔ Posture correction ✔ Short course of paracetamol if needed If pain persists >2–3 weeks: • Consider lumbar spine evaluation • Check Vitamin D (low levels can cause back pain) ⸻ See a doctor urgently if: • Fever • Burning urine • Blood in urine • Severe flank pain radiating to groin Otherwise, based on your reports: Kidneys are functioning well.
Health Tips
✔ Avoid intense running without warm-up ✔ Stay hydrated ✔ Strengthen core muscles ✔ Avoid heavy lifting temporarily ✔ Maintain ergonomic sitting posture Your current lab results are reassuring. The back pain is very likely muscular and not kidney-related. However, if you want a precise assessment based on exact pain location and pattern, booking a short online consultation would help differentiate muscular pain from spine-related causes and give you a structured recovery plan.

Most likely muscle pain, due to muscle pull or rupture. To confirm, you can get mri done.Take tab flexon m.r one every 8hours for 3 to 4 days, after meals. Avoid bending,  rest in a supine position on hard bed. Once pain is reduced,  start doing exercises to strengthen back muscles.

Your repeat kidney tests are normal, so the earlier changes were likely due to exercise. Ongoing back pain is more likely muscular.
Next Steps
Avoid heavy lifting, maintain good posture, and consult me so I can examine you properly and guide further treatment if needed.

Dear Patient, Your kidney function tests are now within normal limits, and the earlier creatinine 1.3 and protein in urine could have been temporarily elevated due to exercise or muscle strain. The current values—creatinine 0.8, no protein in urine, and eGFR 121—indicate normal kidney function. The back pain you are experiencing is likely muscular in origin, especially if it occurs after activity or prolonged sitting/standing. Common causes include muscle strain, posture issues, or minor ligament irritation. What you should do - Rest and gentle stretching of back muscles - Apply warm compresses for soreness - Maintain good posture while sitting, standing, or lifting objects - Avoid heavy lifting until pain improves - Regular core-strengthening exercises can prevent recurrence consult me - Persistent or worsening pain despite rest and home measures - Pain radiating to legs, numbness, or weakness - Fever, unexplained weight loss, or urinary symptoms For further guidance and personalized treatment you may consult me on Practo anytime.
