4 month baby boy doing dark green stool
My 4 month old baby is on breastfeeding along with nestle pro nan formula milk 2-3 times 100 ml from last one month and from one month his's stool is dark green in colour and he do potty on alternate days. Please tell us every thing is alright of not , please help

Why do you give formula at this age..?? How do you give thay formula.. I mean by katori/spoon or bottle?? These are wrong practice you are doing.. there is no need of formula at any age ( specially before 6 months).. he should be on exclusive breastfeeding. If dark greenish stool is recent then just go for stool routine micro examination. If anything wrong consult Pediatrician in person. Otherwise passing stool on alternate day is normal.

exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months. if top feed is unavoidable.. give it by katori/spoon with proper hygiene ( handwash with soap-water before every feed )

Both are normal,as long as there's no blood in stools or they are tarry black. Passing motions after 2-3 days is normal if they are soft and formed.
