3months pregnant/Urinary tract infection
Greetings of the day, Sir my wife is 3 months pregnant with all tests conducted regarding pregnancy as prescribed (including ultrasound) by obstrecian gynecologist with normal results. -Only Urine Examination & culture sensitivity Test confirmed that pus cells (12-14) & bacteria to be found. Result :- Organism : - Lactose Fermenting Gram Negative Bacilli( E.coli) Type of culture :- Aerobic Culture result :- Gram Baillie grown after 24 hrs of incubation at 37 o C aerobically. * Complaints - Recurrent UTI , inflammation during urination , Frequency Micturition , lower abdomen pain , lower back ache , leg pain , weakness. *Hemoglobin- 10.8 gm/dl She is been facing this problem over a month now & have changed medication 3 times as prescribed by obstrician gynecologist but none of meds could cure the infection ,only minor improved are to be seen. All precautions are been taken as per medics. Kindly guide further, also I have a query, is obstrecian gynecologist & urogynecologist same ??
