I have urinary infection

I'm 7 months pregnant and I have urinary infection. My doctor adviced me to take niftas tablet for 5 days daily 3 times.is it safe to consume these tablets.I'm using calcium and iron tablets.

No medication is safe in pregnancy unless it is really required. Your physician must have looked into the urine tests(culture) and treatment started on. Nitrofurantoin is relatively safe and can be taken during pregnancy if really indicated.
