Normal incubation period( period in which initial symptoms appear) for corona virus is approx 14 days. As per in your case you are in self isolation from 8 days, better to be in self isolation for more 6 days, then you should go to check yourself for covid test. Most of the time postive cases remail asymtomatic and people spread infection to others because they themself dont knw they r being infected.
Next Steps
stay in self isolation
Health Tips
normally symptoms appear in 6 7 days after exposure, be relax and stress free, in your case there is less chance to get positive.

Stay calm and stay isolated from your dear ones. Most of the Covid-19 positive cases are reported asymptomatic. Be in isolation for 6 more days before proceeding further. You will be fine.
