I am 21 years old. I've never had to go to any dentist for cavities because I've never had cavities in my teeth. But the only problem is the colour of my teeth. When i was young, I would not take proper care of my teeth, I would not brush them properly, which is why i have yellow teeth now. I have been brushing my teeth properly for years now, but all in vain. It's still yellow. I have noticed another thing, that is, the edges of my teeth look translucent and a very tiny part of my teeth chipped off after lunch. Is their any toothpaste in the market that can help me a little?
Please tell me some home remedies too.
(I know that I will have to go to a dentist anyway).
Awaiting a reply.

Hi.. I have to warn u that the more harder u brush the more yellow your teeth become because the outer WHITE ENAMEL layer of teeth is abraded off with hard brushing and the inner YELLOWISH sensitive DENTIN layer gradually gets exposed. Also, tooth colour is genetic( after ruling out stains etc). If u have no sensitivity u can go for Tooth Bleaching to whiten them
U can use many whitening pastes...as bleaching won't suit u ..u will hav sensitivity as u mentioned ur tooth edges r weak...if u hav stains dat don't go even after brushing ...u can go fr cleaning and polishing of teeth
If u don't have sensitivity u can go for bleeching(tooth whitening) treatment.brushing harder will not reduce ur yellow colour of teeth,in fact it abraded the outer layer of enamel
