Wound on Scalp
My Mother is having diabetes. We checked the sugar levels and its always coming above 200. And she was hit by a wood on her scalp creating a small wound which is not healing and has also got Pus/Cyst formation inside it.
We try to clean the wound with Betadine and keep it open.
Wanted to check whether we can apply Megaheal ointment and cover it with Bactisafe piece and regularly change it in a sterile manner. Will it heal the wound?
As she is under diabetes we cant get her surgery done. Please help or suggest!
