Wound left leg Right amputed 10yrs ago

Asked for Male, 65 Years

My dad had been affected with gangrene ten years ago and his left leg was amputed, now a wound in his right feet has started we visited a general surgeon he did not give any tablet he gave ointment Diafoot and asked to apply that and massage with hot water and lemon and salt. My dad is not diabetic.. Any better suggestion which we could follow to get this cared or at least stop will be a great help
