With one kidney?
I am living with one kidney, how many liters of water I can drink per day... I am drinking 6 liters per day is it harm? Doctor suggested me to drinK 3 liters but I don't know it's harm., past three weeks I am drinking minimum 6 to 7 liters per day?I am getting lot of sweat while doing gym, after gym heavy workout getting urine very dark...aagain if consume water more tan litre it will come normal... 1 mint back tested my creatinine level 1.08 is this fine... 1)how long I can live with one kidney.. 2)my creatinine level 1.08 is this fine.. 3)my palms fingers, toes foot ARe paining, upper back body is paying mainly shoulder blades are paining left one is more.,my left kidney got shrunken.. Don't know whether it is working fine or not but right kidney is fine... While urinating no pain.. 4)how many liters water I have to drink is 3 to 4liters is fine per day with one kidney?

Stop first being very apprehensive, all you need to do is to have about 3-3.5litres of fluids per day, Avoid excess avoid excess of salt and protein in diet. Avoid contact sports like karate and rugby. You would lead a normal life

It is fine with 3-4 lts /day with one healthy kidney and normal creatinine level.in very hot coditions with more workouts and perspiration requirement may be more.in winter and cold climatic coditions, requirement may be less
