Wisdom tooth removal

Hi, Yesterday I have got my upper wisdom tooth removal via surgery. I just want to know, what should be the food used n till how many days? Also, there is a prescription of Betadine mouth wash. Should I use hot r cold water?

Hope you are revovering well and are not 3xperiencing too.much pain.Typically after a wisdom tooth extraction, It is better to stick to soft and cold diet for the initial 24 to 36 hours. Mouthwash or rinse should be avoided for 24 hours as the clot is fragile and may get dislodged due to vigorous rinsing . Regular oral hygiene measures and warm saline rinses or mouthwash (if prescribed by your surgeon)is okay after 24 hours of the surgical procedure. However it is best that you take your surgeon's opinion for any further queries regarding post surgical care.
