Wisdom tooth pain with foul smelling
Hi..I am having pain and swelling in my right corner tooth or wisdom tooth it faces towards the wall of my mouth and very difficult to see or reach and foul smelling is also coming whenever I try to touch on the tooth. Is it any infection ?

Most of the times the wisdom tooth doesn’t get space to erupt. This situation is called tooth impaction, and it’s not very unusual with wisdom teeth. The reason is that wisdom tooth erupts at age of maturity and by that time the growth for an individual is done. Jaw size remains same and it becomes difficult to accommodate one more tooth. The tooth either remains impacted or comes out in abrupt direction. The permanent solution for this problem is mostly the tooth removal.
