Will it go away with time
My mother still has slight coughing which comes and goes .it's been 2 months after covid still it hasn't resolved . Everything else is fine just coughing without any problem .(history of asthma and mild hypertension)

Is your mom taking any medicines for hypertension?
Some medicines do produce mild cough specially at night
If not then she can try with some cough suppressant syrup for some days
