Why was my baby given artificial milk?

Hi Mam ...it's unfortunate that your baby was put on artificial milk without being given breast milk ...Why could not the baby suck from breast? Is there problem with nipple ? Probably since baby could not feed they would have started on formula milk... Anyways pls continue breast feeding now as the baby will have to learn to suck from breast...it is very easy to take from bottle as the milk comes out easily where as baby has to put more  effort to suck from breast  ... Train the baby to latch on to the breast properly...pls take help of a Lactation consultant or an experienced nurse or doctor who can teach you how to feed by being at your side when feeding..
