Based on your biopsy report, the lesion was a benign fibro-epithelial polyp, which is not cancerous. Recurrence at the same site can happen due to local irritation or chronic inflammation. Clobetasol reducing the size suggests an inflammatory/reactive lesion, not a malignant one.
However, since it is recurrent, I strongly advise a clinical re-examination by an oral medicine specialist or oral surgeon. If the patch persists or increases, a repeat biopsy may be needed for confirmation. Avoid alcohol, spicy foods, and any local trauma, and do not use steroid gels long-term without supervision.
Hello,
Since the earlier biopsy showed a benign fibroepithelial polyp, recurrence at the same site is usually due to chronic irritation or scarring. Clobetasol reducing the patch suggests an inflammatory component.
However, as it is recurrent, I would advise a clinical re-evaluation and repeat biopsy if there is any change in size, texture, or color. Avoid alcohol and any local irritation.

Take care.
