White discharge & pain in uterus

Asked for Female, 27 Years

Hi, After 1 month of delivery, from past 1-2 days my wife is getting white discharge with smell & little bit pain in uterus. Please suggest what she should take to avoid such problems & will it have any serious impact. Please advise.

She might have a pelvic infection because of which she's having pain and white discharge. Start tab metrogyl 400mg twice daily for 2 weeks, tab Doxycycline 100mg twice daily for 2 weeks and tab Cefixime 200mg 2 tabs. Also maintain genital hygeine (use v wash lotion once during bath) Use barrier contraception till the discharge is gone.
