Whining child
My two year 3 month old son always whine for his mother. It stops his mother to do regular work at home. He always try to hang into her lap or try to be with her always. Even I can't even control the behaviour. Tried a lot. Is it normal at this age or indication of any latent issue? Pls clarify.

Hi, it could be separation anxiety The first peak of separation anxiety usually takes place in the second half of the first year, and lasts for about 2 to 4 months, though there is great variability in this. It is manageable and should be adressed Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy all the best

It is normal at this age... As a father, spend more time in engaging your son, talk more.. Play with him... You need not carry him when he cries, yet, you can engage him by your activities...
