Which other medicine to take
I'm suffering from depression from 5 years and have been given many meds and therapy. I can function to some extent now. I have taken almost 5-7 meds. Right now I'm on flutee60. I think I was much better with combination of some meds. I just want to know that how will one decide what helped me. Was it lithium or amisulpridie or bupropion or just therapy which I have already taken. Should I ask my doc to give either amisulpridie or lithium or any other antidepressants which will increase the effect of meds or Flutee60 is enough with therapy?? I don't want to just keep changing meds all my life. Just want to know that when are all of them added? Are they added when u are not completely fine or when u are not getting any better?? Ans in detail plz

Hello I can understand that you are really concerned about your problem and medications. But as far my understanding and knoweledge every patient is different and so is the treatment. Some patient may respond to the same medication while others may not. Similarly some might experience the side effects while others can tolerate it very easily. So its all patient based treatment. I am pretty sure your doctor is doing best he can to treat you and come up with a best combination for you. We are always there for our patients to guide them and support them. And always feel free to ask any doubts to your doctor.

Hello. You should ask these queries to your psychiatrist as he/she has tried different medicines and taken your feedback on it. Moreover, it's his specialty so he knows better. As dermatologists, we can help you with any skin problems associated with the medicines you're taking (such as acne), but not with the medicines as such. It would also not be correct professionally to comment on another doctor's prescription. So kindly ask your psychiatrist to help you out and the doctor surely will! Have a good day.
