Where to donate hair for cancer patients

Hi I am 22 year old female and I have long thick hair. I have heard there are centres which make wig for the cancer patients. I would want to know are there specific parlours or any salon we can donate hair. Also would want to know is there a specific length of the hair required to donate or any other prerequisite?
