My mother  currently bed ridden 79 year old diabetic patient is found to have attached picture like formation on right side below her tooth .what could be that?She has UTI and was given antibiotic for a day only as her gas. Acidity aggravated and she had loose motions .She has ulcer problems and often complains of throat pain

Dear  madam . The intraoral picture is not clear . As your mother may not be able to visit dental clinic this is my recommendation - Call or visit Dental clinics to find out about home visits. There are Prosthodontist and Oral surgeons that visit home for emergency dental treatments. it may get painful if  treatment is delayed. Avoid self diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helped.

Hi, From the picture shared, it looks like your mother has a broken tooth which needs to be removed. What is her diabetic sugar levels ? The ulcers could be due to the sharp margins from the broken tooth aggravated by the acidity she has developed due to the antibiotics. I suggest you meet a dentist and get the tooth removed to avoid infection.
