I am studying medicine. I wanted to know the medicine that can help the kidney stones to break. Is it possible that big kidney tones can be broken and then removed naturally? Will there be any side effects to that medication? Is there only one medicine or multiple medicines are required?

This a vague question. The medicine used will depend on type of stone.
Struvite stone - needs surgical removal always.
Uric acid stone - treat hyoeruricemia.
Calcium stones - restrict oxal8c acid intake, shols solution for recurrent stone formation.
For already formed stones, treatment is usually removal by lithotripsy or surgical. No medicine to dissolve. All these meds are to target the etiology of stone formation.

No blanket choice, it depends on constituents of stone.uric acid &infection stones may have chances of dissolution with drugs, common oxalates stones are usually not .
Less oxalates&sodium diet help.
While inhibitors of stones formation like potassium, magnesium, citrates also help.
Commercial preparations of inhibitors is available but should be taken only advice of physician after evaluation
