Last weekend I was at the skating rink with my children when a little girl fell and began shouting in pain, not the normal shouts of bumps and bruises, but serious pain shouts. I kept telling my family “she’s fine, she’s fine” over and over again. Then I suddenly became dizzy, short of breath, my chest felt tight, my hands felt tingly, and I felt like I was going to pass out. My husband thinks I now have PTSD from working in the ER. A few days this week I’ve had reoccurring chest tightness.
