I am very concerned about the cleanliness in home during this covid time. This OCD is hurting my health as well. Please let me know is it necessary to take bath after coming home from outside (e.g. mall or office) or just changing the clothes is enough. Moreover, what about hair and shoes? Do i need to wash my hair also. Do i need to clean my house if someone brings outside footwear inside the house? Please guide me in which way I can keep my family safe from covid as I have to go office regularly now.

hi
first of all relax
it depends on the exposure you are having,if you are coming in contact with people like shaking hands hugging etc you need to wash properly or you can just sanitise your hand or the part touched as there are sprays and other kinds of sanitisers for that.
Next Steps
wear mask properly
get vaccinated (if not done yet)
sanitise hand or wash with soap and water after touching any object or person
keep your shoes outside house and use another set of slippers for indoors if required
meditate and indulge in hobbies as you are clearly anxious and stressed about it
do not overthink and google as it will not lead to ocd as the patients of ocd have compulsion to clean even if it is not that dirty but in your case covid actually demands that much hygiene so cheer up you are doing a good thing by being a responsible person.
feel free to consult if you feel anxious or need more information
