Dear parents,        Why do you want to give formula milk. Note :100ml of milk gives 70 calories energy. 100gm semi solid  diet gives 350 calories of energy. 100ml juices gives 55 calories of energy. After Six months exclusively milk, now start liquid & semi solid diet like Dal, dalia, khichdi, rice, alu, kela, apple, upaama, halwa, patoliya, raab, kadi, idle, poha etc from 8am to 8pm & milk from 8pm to 8am. Mother milk is preferable if not then toned milk. To start with stop milk for 4hours in day for 15days & give semi solid diet, next 15days stop milk for 8hours & give semi solid diet & finally from 8am to 8pm stop milk & give semi solid diet.

At this age, give 2 solid meals including curd and Banana in the diet and 4 milk feeds including one top formula feed, using a spoon and katori. All formulae are more or less the same, choose anyone. Maintain strict hygiene in preparation and giving of top feed.
