What are symptoms of syringomyelia

Hi my mother is 57 yrs old and has been recently diagnosed with Syringomyelia. She had a history of back pain since 3 years but we could not diagnose this condition earlier. Please tell me what are the other symptoms of this condition which we need to keep a check on.
