What are asthma attack home remedies

Asked for Female, 49 Years

Please suggest some home remedies for treatment of asthma for a girl who is 19 years of age. Will cloves, cinnamon help? What about giving honey and pepper everyday? I it safe to use these spices on a regular basis? At home anything else can I do for her to get better faster?
