Wet bandages

Asked for Female, 41 Years

Hi, I had lipoma surgery done yesterday. Doctor said I can shower as long I covered the wound. I covered it with plastic with tape but it still gets wet inside. Will I get infection? Do I need to go back to doctor's office to reapply it? Please advise. Thanks!
