Ayurveda is not something that you eat for 1 month and ask for results. The doctor surely will have a lengthy planning on improving your body. Doctor has done deepana ( kindling of agni) and pachana ( digestion of ama) also a little bit for shamana( reduction of dosha) for you right now. Go back to the same doctor and ask him/ her what is their next plan of action. Definitely it will be Rasayana and improved Shamana.
