Dear doctor
My baby is currently completed 10 month 6 days.
At 8 months his weight was 8.9 kg. After 2 months his weight is 9.0 kg.
Only 100 gm weight gain in 2 months.
He is active no health issues are there and taking feeding and solid food in good amount.
But still in 2 months he gained 100 gm.
Is it normal weight gain?
Is he underweight
What should be the weight at 10 months?
Kindly help.

In my opinion it’s normal
First 6 month of life baby getting maximum weight gain 700 to 1 kg per month
But after that baby getting 100 to 400 gm per month
Because now baby become more active
After 1 year baby gain only 1-2 kg in year
At the age of 1 year
Your baby is 9-10 kg is normal
