My son is 11 months now. He is 9.5 kgs. I feel he is not plumpy enough. But he eats rice porridge ragi porridge banana apple n other fruits n vegetables in the form or puree or soup or mix with the porridge. Is thus weight sufficient enuf?? Otherwise he is too active and playful.

Probably... child is already overweight at 11 months...
Birth weight becomes three times at 12 months..if birth weight is between 2.5 to 3.5kg
Additionally....u should not give soft diet like porridge..

His weight is sufficient as per Indian average for boys. Do not worry. Do not compare your kid to any other kid. Continue with the diet. Kids might look plumpy in the initial six months of age. Later as they grow, their plumpyness reduces gradually as their height increases. Thats the reason. Weight is correct for his age. Stop bothering about it.
His weight is good. There is no issue. There is no way to make a child plump. There is also the risk of him becoming overweight if he becomes plump. Better to have an active and normal weight child than a plump child
