Wart on finger
I have a wart (as per my family physician) on my finger for last 7-8 months. He told me that there is no medicine for it as such and asked me to rub pumice stone on it every day. I did that and it did help in reducing the wart's size. However it grows up again in 1 or 2 weeks time. Rubbing pumice stone every other day is very painful as the skin becomes pinkish and very touch sensitive. On rubbing the stone, wart starts bleeding however there is no evidence of any puss even though from the outside the skin does look a bit whitish when the wart is all grown up. Are there any other alternatives? I think that another wart is also developing right next to the original one. I would also like to mention that I play guitar and the finger with wart comes in direct contact with the steel strings. I suspect that the wart has developed because of it.

Please don't do rubbing. It will not help any more. The wart should be removed surgically. Consult a plastic surgeon nearby.

Please stop rubbing. I think this may be a callosity from friction with the guitar. But the pic is not clear. Need to see it. Please visit my clinic or send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment
