Common side effects of Lurafic 40 are Nausea, Vomiting, Weight gain, Sleepiness, Dry mouth, Anxiety, Stomach discomfort, Restlessness, Agitation, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping).
Interaction with other medicines might have some other effects. Please talk to your doctor as he/she will be the right person to modify the dosage or change medication if required.

It is advisable to take lurafic with a major meal. If you still feel nausea and vomiting with it, then you should approach your psychiatrist and ask him/her to change your medications. Not every medication suits every person.
It is not advisable to stop your medications yourself, as that will allow the problem for which the medications were started, to become worse.
