Vitiligo treatment for 10 year old
My nephew is 9years old, saw a white spot on his forehead 1st in Jan Eventually increased to 2spots now. Visited Skin specialist in January & took the coarse for 45days, but still seen new spot. Got some suggestion and read that it can be cured by homeopathy and there is no cure in allopathy. Thus currently visited a homeopathic doctor and started his treatment. But not much confidence seen in his communication weather it can be fully treated or not, He said it need patience and may take long time to treat. Also if not treated will refur further. My concern is that, he is still young and also spotted within 3 months. so now there better chances, If we wait for years long treatment and come to know that it is not working. Then the case may be complicated with further expansion and few changes of treatment. Need your kind guidance to understand better what to do at this initial stage.

It's true that vitiligo takes a long time to cure. But it's also true that allopathy has no cure for this.
Since the boy is young, you can afford to wait for at least 6-7 months with the doctor you are already consulting. And if in that time you see any positive results (I'm not saying it'll be fully cured in 6 months), I advice you to stay with that doctor only.
But the parents need to tell the homeopathic doctor in detail about what kind of emotional stress the child has been through in the last year.

You are correct about the fact that the earlier it is treated the better. Homoeopathy does have positive results in such cases. If you do not have confidence in the doctor change the doctor. We have had pretty good results in recent years in such cases.
