Vitamin K injection not giving
Hi, I have delivered a healthy baby boy on 29th August, 2021. He is 3 months old now. The doctors here have missed giving him the vitamin K shot. When I checked with my paediatrician today, he mentioned we cannot give that now. However there are fortunately no issues with my baby's health so far. Can you please tell me if I can get the Vitamin K dose for my baby now or please suggest if there is any alternative for this? Should I be worried since the shot is missed? Please help.

Hi. No need to worry. No need for the injection now. It has to be given soon after birth or if any other risk factor.
