VITAMIN D TOXICITY
Hi doctor, i was given a wrong medication by an orthopedic doctor of vitamin D i.e 60,000 IU per day for 11 continuous days which led to toxicity to level of vit d 135 ng/ml.This happened in June 2021, its been a year, but i still face painful symptoms even now, symptoms are 1. Whole body vibrations (unable to sleep because of the vibrations). 2. tremors all over the body especially at hands. 3. Heart bounding and heaviness at chest and body bounces to heart beat. 4. Heart beat sound in head and head shakes to heart beat. 4. Difficulty in breathing and exhaustion. 5. Sleeplessness at night. Your valuable suggestion is required doctor. It is very difficult to struggle each day with such symptoms for the past 1 year, i dont have a normal life since this incident. NOTE: I have no other health issues, Teetotaler, No stress regarding my work, financially well off, no family issues. Literally i was a very healthy and happy person before this vitamin d toxicity with no issues whatsoever.

I don't think a dose of 60000 units of Vit D3 for only 11 days will cause so many symptoms. And it has been more than one year since you took Vit D3. I think you are showing more symptoms of anxiety and apprehension. You should do another test of Vit D3. Share the report and consult with a General Physician . He may advise if it is really Vit D3 toxicity.

Symptoms mentioned by you at 1 to 5 do not show toxicity of Vit D. 60000 units fir 11 days orally make a total input of 6.6 lac units while 1 injection of Vit D is 6 lac units abd 3 injections are given commonly totalling 18 lac units which does not cause toxicity. You are anxious and seem to be corelating other trivial symptoms to vitamin D.
