My father is unconscious past 2 weeks suffering from viral meningitis and under mechanical ventilator support in icu, with guidance of neurologist. Is this takes time to respond or I need to change hospital?

One should look for cause. Usually meningitis not causing unconscious state but it can if it is meningoencephalitis.
