Based on the history and the image, this looks most consistent with an acute oral viral infection or aphthous ulcers commonly known as mouth ulcers. These usually start as small fluid filled blisters or whitish spots, which then burst and form painful raw areas on the tongue or inner mouth, exactly as you are noticing now. This condition is quite common and is usually triggered by viral illness, reduced immunity, stress, recent fever, nutritional deficiencies like vitamin B12 or iron, or local irritation. It is uncomfortable but not serious in most cases and is self limiting.
Next Steps
At present there are no features suggesting anything dangerous. Such ulcers typically heal on their own within 7 to 10 days. During this period, she should avoid spicy, hot, acidic, or very salty foods, maintain good oral hygiene, and drink plenty of fluids. Using a topical oral gel for pain relief and an antiseptic mouthwash can help reduce discomfort and prevent secondary infection. If pain is significant, a simple pain reliever can be used.
Health Tips
if the ulcers do not start improving within 10 days, keep recurring frequently, become very large, are associated with high fever, difficulty swallowing, significant weight loss, or if there is bleeding that does not heal, then she should be examined by a doctor or dentist for further evaluation and blood tests for vitamin deficiencies. At this stage, it does not appear serious and should settle with supportive care and time.
