My nephew(11 months old) had a viral infection around 15 days back. It was fever alone and no other problem. We took medicine(paracetamol) and it subsided in 2 days.
Now he has again(after around 15 days)got the fever; we met our pediatrician and he confirmed that its a viral fever.
This time around though, there is not a lot of improvement in his health. Fever only comes down after having paracetamol and comes back again once the effect of medicine wears off. It has been 3 days now, condition is the same.
My question is:
1) Will viral fever occur so frequently?
2)Is it possible if he has some other problem which has similar symptoms as viral fever?
